Michael is a seasoned leader with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, poised to lead Qualtrate as its CEO and Co-Founder. With a career spanning over three decades, Michael has honed his expertise in driving transformative change and pioneering new solutions in various industries.
Armed with dual Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious M&T program, as well as an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Michael brings a unique blend of finance, computer science, and business acumen to his leadership role.
Michael’s entrepreneurial journey includes founding and leading FT Options, a high-growth risk and analytics SaaS company, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and execution skills. His strategic vision and relentless pursuit of excellence ultimately led to the successful acquisition of FT Options by Cboe Global Markets.
Now, at the helm of Qualtrate, Michael is dedicated to driving innovation in the healthcare industry. While Qualtrate awaits official recognition as an Independent Dispute Resolution Entity (IDRE) under the No Surprises Act, Michael’s leadership and expertise position the company as a promising player in healthcare dispute resolution.

Tara Piazza
Tara Piazza is a distinguished Chief Operating Officer and Data Analytics Consultant with over 20 years of experience. Her expertise spans executive leadership, operational change management, and financial operations, with a special focus on talent development.
Her analytical and steadfast leadership has consistently fueled both topline and experiential growth alongside operational excellence. At Qualtrate, Tara is guiding the organization through its growth in administrative, financial, and personnel operations. Her track record includes managing teams of up to 70 people yielding 80-90% client retention and being instrumental in the sale of a spin-off business yielding a 10X yield for investors.
Based in Sarasota, FL, Tara holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a BA in Sociology from Colgate University. Tara is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the COO Forum and the National Association of Independent Review Organizations (NAIRO).

Peter Piazza
Peter Piazza is a seasoned legal executive and strategic advisor, currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer for Qualtrate, LLC. In this leading role, Peter is responsible for overseeing the company’s comprehensive legal strategy, ensuring compliance, and guiding Qualtrate through its legal and regulatory landscape. His expertise in navigating complex legal challenges is pivotal to the company’s success and growth.
In addition to his primary role at Qualtrate LLC, Piazza is a Partner and General Counsel at AperiamVentures, a venture capital fund dedicated to advancing the digital transformation of media and marketing.
Prior to his current engagements, Peter was the General Counsel at MediaMath, where he played a crucial role in legal strategy, operational decisions, and guiding the company through significant debt and equity financings and other corporate transactions. His tenure at MediaMath was marked by formulating policies that ensured compliance with data privacy laws.
Peter’s professional journey began at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance, followed by roles at The Nielsen Company which cemented his reputation as a trusted advisor in global M&A and investment activities. He is a graduate of Colgate University and Brooklyn Law School, and a member of the American Health Law Association (AHLA).
